Beer Tower
I mentioned that I am doing marketing work in the rich market. Houses, condominiums, resort properties ... anything very well that addresses the top 3% of buyers.
And I put a request for information on marketing campaigns or high end companies that know that I know too.
One of them came to my office on Monday ... for an event that happened last night (Thursday).
A wine and cheese VIP pre-announce the sale of more Alberta's high-Residential Towers. So I made sure I showed rsvp'dy to see what they were doing.
WOW!
Great concert that had there.
Some notes on what I saw and liked (and, of course, a couple of things that could have done better):
* A janitor in the team gala - as you'd expect to see in any 5 star restaurant, hotel or event.
* The live piano as soon as you walk through the door
* Classy greeting reception - with live hostesses (who could have pre-printed name tags instead of hand scratched)
* Wine, cheese, beer, Cajun shrimp ... good food and drinks in general
* Self-paced 3-D video tutorials of the towers in a flat-screen touch base (you can choose the floor that would then see the views you would get from north, south, east or west)
* A simulation suite can walk through to get an idea of services offered
* VIP! Lots of them. Some major players in the business world and society is to be seen. The names Documents seen on a regular basis everywhere.
* Your purchase at the towers include the participation of all amenities. These were first class and definitely the extent of people with money (you own personal wine cellar that they manage for you, a top spa, a 5 star restaurant, concierge services, special pet sitting, walking, and cleaning service, swimming pool with a lot of class, a delicatessen for the race, guest suites for out of strangers, fitness center and a private wine and cigar bar)
Overall, this was a class concert.
But a few things to lose:
* No one (or no sign) to explain what you should watch or pay attention to
* There is no possible way to inform staff, apart from the guests (who ask questions?)
* Not to walk around saying hello and find out what you need from them
* There are no real materials to take with you when you leave (had to ask for it)
The positives outweigh the negatives, for sure. Time will tell how their monitoring of works and if you ever hear from them again!
Now, take a look at the list of services only ... they know exactly what their customers want perfect ... and are willing to pay.
Do you?
Is it possible that your ideal customers would pay more for products and services you if we look more to your internal desires that you have to dig deep to find?
I bet it's possible ... and some good research on their behalf might be a potential advertising and marketing gold mine!
Finding how to dig this information out of them ... and then incorporate what they say.
