Strip Heat
Shopping for Velobind binding strips can be very confusing. Many people have seen the Velobind product but do not realize that there are actually several types of Velobind strips. However, when you're buying Strips Velobind is expected to know what kind you need. This article is designed to provide a quick overview of the four major types of Velobind strips.
1. Velobind Hot Knife (11 Pin): The first type of Velobind strip is hot knife strips. These 11 pin hot knife strips are used by Velobind System One, System Two and Velobind System Three Pro Velobind Velobind Machine takes the comb (the part with the bolts coming out) and rivets to the Gaza receive using heat. This provides a permanent and secure relationship with an extremely professional look. These strips are available in a number of different colors and can also be purchased in 8.5 "long and 14" lengths for binding legal size.
2. 4 Pin Velobind resealable: The second most common type of Velobind strip is the band 4-pin reclosable Velobind. These four pin strips are designed for use with the GBC Velobind V110e punch and with the Velobind V50 punch (now discontinued). With GBC 4 Pin Velobind Strips resealable top of the ridge just snaps into the back of the Gaza receive what is easy to edit their books and subsequent documents. Four-pin Velobind strips offer the look of GBC Velobind no need to buy an expensive new hotknife Velobind machine.
3. 6 Pin Velobind resealable: Six Pin GBC Velobind binding strips are designed for use with the now discontinued personal GBC Velobind system. These strips consist of a comb with six small screws that fit in the Gaza receive (as the four pin Velobind strips).
4. One Eleven Velobind Strips: GBC Velobind One Eleven Strips are designed for the UES with the One Eleven Velobind 111. These manual compression Velobind strips have unique binding serrated teeth to ensure a secure and permanent bond. GBC One Eleven binding strips are available in black and only two different sizes.
In addition to these four different types of Velobind Strips GBC also makes working SureBind strips identically to 11 Pin Velobind Hot Knife Strips, but the pins are designed to align with the hole pattern for comb binding. These strips are less common than traditional strips Velobind and are a little broader.
