How do I fix the leak control cockpit?
Well, you know how most of the tubs have a flight control little (usually mounted a few inches from the wall below the faucet) - there is a mother you move up if you want to clear the drain (keep the water from tub bath) and then when you want to drain the tub, move the dowards mother? This control used to work fine, but in recent times default has been preferred to drain the closed position (ie, with the stem side up). If I try to push down the stem, the mother immediately returns to the up position (it feels as if there is a poorly balanced weight behind the wall causing this action. How do these controls drain work? Ideas about what is causing this problem and what to do to fix it? Thank you! Nate: I think you need to reread the question;)
If you have a collection of around, you can get a repair book. They usually have good pictures that help you understand what's going on. I have corrected and put in drain plugs, and that could mean you need to put a new one. Do not go behind the wall is inside the pool itself. You just unscrewing the plate and pull the whole thing. Or, you may see if it needs cleaning. Do this, unscrew the plate and see what is happening. Actually, I have a home repair book and helped me a lot. It is a good investment! I also think it is a website DYI.com? Do it yourself, or could have illustrations HGTV.com to display.
